1st Draft
This is our first draft. On reviewing it and based on our audience feedback we decided to change a few things. One of the main points mentioned was the costume, as it didn't allow the audience to identify between the different characters. The characters were all wearing all black, therefore the audience wouldn't be able to distinguish between the villains and the victims.
The other point given to us was that there was too much headroom within the point of view shot, therefore showing that the attention is not only on the character but also on the things around him. We need to focus on the framing of our shots.
Taking these points into account we decided to re-shoot the whole sequence- paying closer attention to framing and giving the victim a more distinguised costume. We decided on a white jumper to symbolise innocence and vunerability. We wanted to keep the casual look to fit in with our genre.

Shooting day 1:
On our first day of shooting, we had planned to shoot the whole opening of our film, all in one day.
We went to a deserted place as we had planned beforehand, which was based in a private area in limehouse.
We had then moved on to shooting particular shots by using different type of angles, we had done this by following our storyboard.
We had to re-take many of our shots, as we there was difficulties with the positioning of the camera and so on.
When we had then come back to our class the next day, for editing. We had mainly cropped out some of our filming as some did not come out as we had intended to come out as. We didn't use as many transitions on our filming, we mainly used fade out at the near-end of our opening.
We also added music to our opening, to create tense within the begining, and we had thought as a group it had fitted in nicely with our opening.
Audience/Class feedback:
The class had watched our opening and we had got alot of positive feedback, but on the other hand, there was also feedback, where the class/audience had told us that the framing was a bit out of position, and the main point was on the costume that was worn in the opening. As all our actors are young asian boys, when they had similar costumes- black jackets, it was hard to distinguish between the victim and the villains. It was suggested that we make the victim wear white to connote innocence and vulnerability.
Therefore, we had then planned on taking all the feedback, and take it into consideration, as a result we had re-taken our opening of our film again.
Shooting day 2:
As we got feedback from the class, we had taken all that in, and had re-taken our opening again.
The actors in the film were wearing what they were supposed to. Victim was wearing white, whereas the villians were wearing all black. So when watching, you can tell who the vulnerable is, and who the villians are.
We had then got into shooting our opening. This time we were focusing on the framing of our opening, as well as our filming and techniques that we had used in the first day of our shooting.
The next day we had come and edited our final shooting, we had used some bits from the first day of our shooting, and had also linked it with the new shooting that we had taken. During the editing, the difficulties we had faced, was doing continuity within the opening of the film.

Preliminary task
Ridwan Rahman - Acting and Editing
Mustaq Rahman - Acting and Directing
Akthar Ali - Acting and Filming
Fahim Shahriyar (Cannibal productions) - Filming
In the this task we were given the task of doing various camera shots which had to demonstrate, Match on match action, Shot reverse shot, 180° rule and over the shoulder shot. In this task we had to film a character opening a door, crossing a room and sitting down in a chair opposite another character with whom he engages in a couple of lines of dialogue. we think the filming went well even though we had to shoot the whole scene in 10 minutes, but 1 mistake was Ridwan's hat, at first it is facing forward and towards the end it faces backwards, if we were to do this again we would make sure that there is no small and silly mistakes such as that. But in conclusion we think we did the best we could do in such a small time limit.
