Location
These are the location that we used in our opening scene, the reason why we chose these location was that it was a very quiet area, also we would be able to use the tunnels which are located in that area, also the inside of the tunnel is dark so it will connate the dark side of life which can be caused by gang life.

Costume/Clothing
The word "action" in the lines of costumes would give anyone the idea that the character would be wearing tight fitted clothing or vests to show there ripped muscles. For example in the high impact action film "Rambo" Sylvester Stallone’s costume can tell the audience his background and a bit about him. The first we scene when "Rambo" appears you can tell that he was a part of the army because of his camouflaged jacket.
Moreover other clothing which indicate a film is in the action genre are:
Vests - these usually are worn to show the audience the characters arm muscles and unique build and muscular strength. This connotes that the character is strong and powerful and may play a key figure in the film.
High-Top boots - the reason why this is worn so that the character can tuck the bottom of his trousers into them so he is able to run and do more physical movement efficiently.
Camouflaged trousers - in some films were the character is a part of the army or used to be a part of the army, these trousers are usually worn so that the character if ever goes "on the run" from his enemies he is able to blend in with his trousers. Also this will indicate to the audience that they should expect action because the character may be a former army officer.
On the other hand some films have different guidelines to costumes even if they are in the action genre. For example all the "James Bond" films you will see him wearing a suit even though he is the action hero.
Suit/Tuxedo - This gives the character a sophisticated look as he will be well dressed but may give the look of some sort of "Hitman" or "Secret agent" because of the connation which was built by the "James bond" films. This also gives the character a natural look which will make the audience think that if he looks normal then there maybe people in the characters similar position working as a secret agents.
As we (Bright Light Productions) were doing our own adaptation of "Green Street" we need similar costume styles. The difference between our film and " Green Street" would be that our version has nothing to do with football hooliganism and will be dominantly set in the London borough of Tower Hamlets were the ethnic minority is largely South-East Asian. One stereotypical view which is somewhat true is about boys and their sagged pants. Even though it is not the majority but it is a large minority of boys that do it. In this film i do not expect any of the characters to wear suits or camouflaged clothing as this will not be realistic to our film. If the film is set in the summer then maybe some characters may wear vests but do not expect all of them to wear vests as this will make everyone look the same and will not also look realistic. We also do not expect all of the characters to have ripped muscles. As it is set in the present time we will need to dress our characters with appropriate clothing which is worn by teenagers in the present time. Such as polo's, sweaters, hoodies, body warmers, puffed jackets, jeans, tracksuit bottoms and high-top/low-top trainers. Avoiding the long Mack and trench coats/jackets worn by the characters in "Green Street", because as from being from the London borough of Tower Hamlets i would not expect the characters to wear those clothing also it will be hot during filming and will be set in the spring so wouldn’t advice them to wear it. As the first scene is a faceoff between two gangs we would make sure that the characters are not wearing clothes that they would if they were going to a party or meeting there girlfriend. They should wear clothing they are comfortable with and what they would wear if they were going to a fight, for example they could be blacked out wearing black trainers, jeans and top or in casual clothing so it does not look like an organized fight.
In conclusion we would tell the characters not to wear any sort of formal clothing and dress casually.

Music
For the music we decided to use similar instrumentals to these as they have a very calm start and when the base line drops, it becomes very hard hitting which will go with our opening scene, also the both beats gradually become faster as the song goes on, which will intensify the scene.
